I’m really psyched with the job YES! Magazine has done with my feature article about Medellín, Colombia in their current Winter 2015 cities issue. It’s online now, but if you can, please pick up a copy at your local news stand or bookstore (if you still have one). I think print media still needs to have a place in our world, especially when it’s meaningful, solutions-oriented, not-for-profit journalism you’re supporting. From a writer’s perspective, I can’t tell you how helpful it is to have top notch editors committed to getting it right, because there’s no update button you can click on once that baby has gone to the printer.
